Any way to get the current frame that the flash movie is on?

How about having a fscommand(put-frame-number-here) -- For each frame in the Flash movie/project.
And then in the AMS project using the On Timer maybe and? (thinking out loud here, no working code just thinking off the top of my head, CORRRRREY! Where are you?)

And here is a screenshot of one of the frames (duplicate but change the number of course, for each frame).

Hi, to view the current frame of a Flash movie simply reference the Flash variable "_root._currentframe" from an AMS project. Working example attached, the Flash movie in this case is just an empty timeline 1,000 frames in length. Hope that helps.![]()
Mine works.. but I like your optimized and more professional handling of the situation Corey!
Give me a ... C .. GIVE ME AN .... O.. GIVE ME A.. .. well you all know the rest!

The more important implication to take away from that example is how easy it is to access all the built in variables in your Flash movies thanks to the great Flash system the dev guys built in. This allows you direct access to *tons* of handy information within your Flash movies.![]()
I hear that! Bang up job I feel they are doing.

Once I get this studio soundproofed an instructional video training CD on "Using Flash in AMS" is *very* high on my agenda. I've been meaning to do one for years now...![]()

The most undermarketed aspect of AutoPlay Media Studio is as an application shell maker for Flash developers, no question about it.![]()
