Video position into variable ?

I have a Windows Media Player object in my player done in AMS4, and I wanted to know if it was possible to put the video position (for example, in seconds) into a variable, so that I can create a button that allows the user to jump +5 sec. or -5 sec. in the video ?

Thank you very much, and once again, keep up the good work !

Well the standard way, which most users will already be familiar with seeing and using, is to check the "show tracker control" option for your media object. This give's your users familiar drag'n'seek technology which is clean, accurate, and simple.

Another option is to segment your windows media files into chapters, and give your users the media player drop down to select from these movie marker points by checking the "show goto bar" option... This works best for movies which have clearly delineated segmentation.
