    "Read Out Loud"

    Has anyone noticed this feature in Adobe Reader 7? (View>Read Out Loud)... wild stuff!

    Maybe someday this technology will advance so the voice doesn't sound like that robot from Buck Rogers..

    Speech technology is just getting ramped up. There's no question at all that there are speech systems on the horizon which most people will not be able to discern from a real human voice. It's just a matter of time.

    The best publically available computer based voice(s) I have ever heard are the one's with regards to IBM's Natual Voices.
