    shades of grey - same or different?

    This is odd:



    Hard as it may be to believe, the two squares A and B are actually the same color.

    I checked with my color picker app and sure enough, R=107 G=107 B=107, for both.

    It sure is a good optical illusion! I still think that they are not the same color!

    lmao.

    I believe you about them being the same color, but I can’t make my eyes perceive them that way. That’s one of the best optical illusions that I’ve ever seen. Thanks for sharing.

    We humans are only really good at picking up contrast between colours.

    The exact colour; well we only tend to guess at.

    But hey, that is why colour pickers where invented i believe

    (Note: for those of you in certain parts of the world read colour as color)

    It does show you how the brain does a lot of interpreting out what the eye actually sees. Anything you see from now on is probably only a figment of your imagination.......
