Playing NSV Shoutcast video

Hello all, is there any way I can hook up streaming video into autoplay menu studio without calling it from an external web page. We use a shoutcast server (nsv and winamp) the idea is we don't want people to see where the stream is coming from due to the fact that it gets spread all over the internet a costs us a lot of money in bandwidth charges?

Any help would be appreciated...

You can easily use the media player plugin and get an embbeded streaming video inside you AMS app.
I have done it a couple of times and it works well.

Thanks for the reply, will media player play live NSV streams though? the plugin required for our streams is: http://www.nullsoft.com/nsv/embed/nsvplayx_vp6_mp3.cab

Hi, it's been a while since I was here and I was hoping someone would come to my rescue!! AMS is absolutely fantastic and provides us with everything we need apart from this small problem playing streaming media from a shoucast server!! is there no way we can embed a winamp stream into AMS without calling an external webpage?

scudd, I took a look at this situation myself (my first time with personally doing streaming video through an AMS 5 project, so bare with me).

I have used forum user Worm's offering (unofficial plugin) called SetMask DLL and I believe it would work great in this instance.

He has a user forum where you can post and get help too, with regards to his offerings.

Worm has helped me on more than one occasion... he's "good people".
