I use the heck out of my ipod. I just recently installed a ipod2car in my car. Very nice and works like a charm.

You're rapidly becoming our resident gadget meister. How long until KaraokePod comes out I wonder? I don't like to brag, but my singing can really get a crowd up and moving around.

Anyhow I was just thinking, if I can hook my bass up to my iPod, and then hook that up to my car stereo, I can jam while I'm driving! For a measly couple hundred bucks. Now *that's* what I call evolution!

Would that be with the neck of the bass hanging out the window or hitting your passenger in the head?

Here in Canada the steering wheel is on the left, and people's heads point upward for the most part, so... But I could always grab a jeep and drive sitting backward atop the hood like the guy from my all-time favorite movie, "The Gods Must Be Crazy", then I... So... Hmmmm.

Look, I'm going to level with you Stephen. The only two weak parts of my idea are the planning, and to a lesser extent, the execution. Let the chips fall where they may, no one ever said evolution would be free. Ultimately a couple measly bruised foreheads is a bargain at any price for such advancement.

    Ok, you get the jeep.

Lose the ipod idea and rig up a bass amp that really kicks.

You get those guys (i assume you get them in canada also) that put a sub woofer in the car and think everybody want to listen to thier distored bass lines. Anyway, you drive up along side in your modified keep come mobile bass amplifier and basically shatter thier windows with a few licks.

Exactly. It's a very important step forward for humankind. As for the guys with the ultra-LOUD car stereos, yep, Alberta is on the cutting edge. My neighbors in fact are grandmasters in the dark art of unbalanced car audio. Everytime they pull in/out it sounds like someone hired Snoop Dogg to do a concert inside an aluminum smelter.

I see my car is supported. I'll have to check into this and then I too can be apart of the "never listen to a radio advertisement again" crowd.

Intrigued ipod2car is great. What I like about it is that you can use your car stereo controls to control your ipod. You basiclly get all the controls that you would have on a cd changer: stop, play, fast forward, reverse, next song, previous song, volume, balance and so forth. Very nice product!

My iPod would appreciate being loved again. As I have, since x-mas '04, been using my wireless headset here in the house for movie, music, etc. etc. multimedia endeavors.

I wonder if they'll put out a version that works with the iPod shuffle.
