Anyone Suggest A Graphics Library and Printer?

As some of you may have read, I am a REALTOR, so producing videos and presentations is not my "shtick," but, can anyone recommend a volume library of stock avis and images that might help a "non-industry" type as some of us might be?

I do have one such library that I paid $200 for. ITs called PhotoObjects Volume 1...so before someone says, "Why not Volume 2," Ive already tried it.

The stock images Im looking for are neighborhood fly-bys, new home construction, etc...

LASTLY, anyone recommend printers of CD's and CD Jackets?

I would need about 2500 to start.

Now then, if you would like to see some templates for AMS which meet your exact needs just list them here and I'll whip up a few for you, other users might enjoy some real estate presentation templates. I just need to know what typical features you would be looking for in such a template...

Scott, you'll have better luck at finding high-quality, yet inexpensive stock photos than you will with video. The problem with video is that almost any stock supplier out there is providing material based on film footage (read: expensive to shoot, develop, edit, digitize, etc. Therefore, expensive to purchase).

As you may already know, it's not easy, or even possible in many situations, to shoot professional quality video without professional quality crews and equipment. That stuff all costs money - and more than you'd probably care to know about. A professionally produced 10 minute video on selling homes could easily cost more than one of the homes itself!

That being said... here are a few links to some of the more affordable buy-out footage and animation libraries:

You're going to find largely abstract stuff in this price range: moving clouds, busy streets, abstract animations, etc. They are ALL designed for full-screen broadcast resolution - overkill for most multimedia/web projects.

Also, it means you don't get much selection, since you can't fit all that much high-quality QuickTime on a CD-ROM. To make matters even more complicated, you will need to compress that video for your purposes - again, not just expensive for the software, but the requirements of some hard-earned technical expertise are there as well.

All this sounds bleak, I know... But wait! Hope may be on the horizon - I am involved in preliminary talks regarding a new library designed much more specifically for what you describe as your needs. I recognize that the multimedia world has long been in want of quality, affordable, pre-compressed video clips for a wide range of topics. There is no timetable yet, but hopefully things will get rolling along soon.

Regarding CD printing, I have been using a company in California that offers some of the better service I have found: http://www.acutrack.com

I am sure Indigo Rose has done more research on this matter, as MC suggested, check out their supplier - I'm sure they are good!

Check out both, email Jeff and email acutrack and see who's going to give you the best price-to-your-doorstep. Obviously with either the quality will be good. He who bids lowest bids best, keep those monkeys on their toes.

Although if you tell Jeff Indigo Rose sent you he might treat you a bit better than a random schmoe off the street...
