Embedding Notepad into AMS5

I've looked for an answer to this query on the forums - but no luck. Sorry if it has been asked before.

Is it possible to embed notepad into an AMS5 application? I'm creating a "study skills" app, combining with the Calendar plug-in, to create a revision planner for our students. it would be great if students could also add notes as they work through the app, and have the opportunity to print them out.

There isn't an elegant way to embed Notepad. There are a couple projects on the forum that do some API tricks, but the redraw of the window makes for an ugly app.

If the input box set to multiple lines doesn't do the trick for you, then here is a thread that has a pseudo RTF editor that you could use instead.
