help mediaplayer on multiple pages while jumping?

Ok here is a good problem for you guys.

I want to use the mediaplayer plugin to play mp3's. The problem is that when you leave the page the plugin is on, the media player automatically stops. I want it to keep going, just like the regular "audio" feature of AMS does. So i can switch between pages and the media player will still play.

My theory WAS to have multiple media player objects in the project, one per page, and then simply pass the current file name and last known position between them, but it appears that wont work, since the plugin or program is too slow i guess, when i try to "SEEK" at the page startup, the media player plugin i guess is not initialized yet, giving me no file to use the seek function on.


Anyone know how i can do this?

Ok guys im really confused...... i was under the impression you needed to use Windows media player plugin to play mps...

however i just used the function:

Audio.Load(CHANNEL_NARRATION, "C:\\My Shared Folder\\3 Doors Down - The Road I'm On.mp3", true, false);

And it played the song, this is an MP3 file.... is there something im missing? Why do we need WMP plugin if AMS will play mp3s?

im not to stir up the p00p here.... i just want to make sure this isnt a fluke, if i develop this software assumign this works on all computers would that be bad?

do you see what im getting at???? If this is known, and will work all the time then great, but if not, i want to know.
