check boxes

How can I use check boxes inside the development environment? For example, I want the user to be able to use a check box to mark the software to install. I don't want the user to have to click on "install box #1 to install netscape" and then after netscape is installed, have to "click on install box #2 to install adobe acrobat". I'd rather the user be able to choose each piece of software with a check box and then install everything checked in the check boxes.
Is this possible?
