Disable clientupdate.ini feature
I have read and understand what is going on with the clientupdate.ini feature. I am wondering if it is possible to disable this feature?
The reason I ask is that we run in a redundant enviroment where we have 2 servers that are redundant to each other. When update.exe runs it first tries to download the client.uif file from server A. Our timeout is hit and it tries to get the file from server B which succeeds. However then it tries to download clientupdate.ini from server A again. Which encounters another timeout, and then server B which succeeds. This double the timeouts that have to take place and delays the update if there is one. Is there anyway to disable this?
