Lightbulb Excluding certain files from a release

I would be great if you could easily exclude certain file types from a release. Maybe a list of excluded files could also be defined so it carries on from release to release, that way you don't have to re-select them everytime a new release is added. Another thing that will help is if you could also list files by type plus to have the ability to configure what is or what is not listed.

Re: Excluding certain files from a release

Hi,
You can sort files by type by going: EDIT -> PREFERENCES -> ENVIRONMENT TAB and checking the SORT FILENAMES BY TYPE checkbox.
As far as your suggestion about Excluding Certain files, perhaps you could clarify what you want to be able to accomplish and why. I am having some trouble understanding why you would not just delete them from your project?

mark.

Excluding certain files will be useful when your project contains for example over 100 files and you need to exclude like 5 of them. It is possible you could miss one. Being able to list them by type (as you suggested) is great.
Thanks,
Carlos
