Help please

I am really lost...I have tried like 4 different ways...I guess I dont understand how I am supposed to do this...

This is what I have located at http://www.somewhere.com:
HBRE.exe
contents1.txt
contents2.txt

this is what I want to do...
1. execute the client
2. have it compair a file (anything that will make it work) from the client directory with a file from http://www.somewhere.com
3. if they are different....download the HBRE.exe, contents1.txt, and contents2.txt files from the http source to the client directory...then if possible execute the HBRE.exe file
4. if they are the same do nothing and execute the HBRE.exe file

nevermind I got it oh and my updater has gone from something simple to very difficult within seconds it looks like Im actualy going to have to do quite a bit of codeing...but the end result will rock thankyou for such an amazing product...we'll be in contact
