Update Process Question

I have an .exe running that will make a call to TrueUpdate's client side file to initiate the update process. Is this the correct process ? What if I have a new version of my calling program - can TrueUpdate update a running program ? If I make a call to TrueUpdate, will it run parallel with my program ? What I need to do is run my application and at the beginning of it, check to see if there is a new version. If so, update it (stop and start it ?). Thanks.

Use the Close Program action to close the running program.
