True Update failed with error

I'm trying to use True Update for automatic updating of our application. However, when i run the True Update client program it says the de application is not properly installed. I'm using a file version check to see if there is a newer version available. What am i doing wrong?

I believe that you may be missing the check to see if the user currently has the current version. If they do, you want to launch the "Status->Latest Version" action.

Make sure that the first Version Identifier check is for your latest version. Then place the action mentioned above on the Actions tab for that Version Identifier.
