Grin Totally hidden downloads?

Hi,

Before I start detail testing and writing, can anyone confirm if the following scenario is possible.

What I'd like to do is as my application starts, it looks for an update and if found just downloads it and then notifies the program so it can offer to update in place. Ideally I'd like it to do this without the user knowing or needing to interact with trueupdate. All our users have t1 adsl so I know that wont matter.

Any help or suggestions greatfully recieved. I'm coding in VB 6.

Thanks

Mark

Re: Totally hidden downloads?

Yes, it is certainly possible to create an update that does not require user interaction when run. However there will be a task bar icon displayed while the update takes place.
