When using the "custom" option for output the file size should be inserted by the build process not the user. Currently the user has to input the byte size in order to produce a single setup.exe. If the byte size is smaller a setup1 is created. This was a feature that existed in setfac 4.0 and should be used in the 5.0.
Also once the output is generated the user should have the option to return to the output screen or the setup screen. 5.0 gives the user no option to access the output screen. Setup has to be re-executed. This is very time consuming when you need to export setup.exe to multiple directories. Minus these minor problems setup 5.0 is an excellent piece of installation software. |

Re: Creating output files
Hi,
The file size for the output file is visible in the statistics area of the build screen. As far as returning to the output screen, I will pass this on as a suggestion for future releases. Thanks for the input Jeffrey. mark.
