Another Suggestion

Not sure if already in list but:

When installation is progressing transferring files, could the copy folder to folder progress be replaced by some sort of more detailed progress. For example, rather than just say copying files x perhaps "Now installing zzzz part of the application". Also maybe allow changing logos as some sort of advertising or information screens similar to the way Windows itself installs?

This is a good suggestion, many users in the past have asked for something similar. Basically a timed "slide show" allowing you to show detailed information during your installation.
