How Can I Have Shortcuts on the Quick Launch bar

Anyone know how to create an icon on the Quick Launch toolbar?

There is no way to do that from within Setup Factory. You would have to write a custom program that does that.

To put a shortcut into quick launch, will puting an icon into:
C:\Windows\Application Data\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

[GeoTrail]

That will not work on XP.

I think this should work:

Use the %IsWinXP% to check wether the user is using Windows XP.
