Conversion of LFN to 8.3 paths

Hello,

I am currently evaluating SetupFactory to be used as an installer for an application which has to drive another, quite ancient (i.e. not my choice) one.
It unfortunately forces me to pass 8.3-character paths to it.

Question (one for wishlist?): Can i somehow find the 8.3-form of a Long FileName path (which was browsed to by the user) in Setup Factory 5? I need to put it into the registry eventually.

There is no conversion function in the software at this time. However, that is something that we will look at for a future release.
