SUMMARY

This article will explain how to import a project file that was created with AutoPlay Menu Studio 3.0 into AutoPlay Media Studio 4.0, converting the version 3.0 project into a new version 4.0 project.

DISCUSSION

To import an AutoPlay Menu Studio 3.0 project and convert it into a new AutoPlay Media Studio 4.0 project:

1. Start AutoPlay Media Studio 4.0.
2. On the Start Project dialog, either create a new blank project, or open an existing 4.0 project.
3. Select Import v3.0 Project from the File menu.
4. Enter the full path and filename of the version 3.0 project (.am3) file that you want to import. (You can also press the Locate project file button to browse your system for the .am3 file.)
5. Provide a name for the new version 4.0 project. (This name will automatically be used for the new project's folder and project file.)
6. Press OK to begin the conversion process.
