This article explains how to move from the trial version to the commercial version of AutoPlay Media Studio 4.0.

DISCUSSION

In order to move from the trial version of AutoPlay Media Studio 4.0 to the commercial version the following steps should be followed:

Uninstall the Trial Version

Before you uninstall the trial version, make sure that the trial version is not running. Once the trial version has been closed, go to the Control Panel and open the Add/Remove Programs application. Select the AutoPlay Media Studio 4.0 Trial entry from the list and press the Change/Remove Button.

Note: This will not uninstall your project files. Only the files that were installed during the initial installation (that is, the program files) will be removed by the uninstall routine. Project files that you have created with the product will NOT be uninstalled.

Tip: If you would like to keep the preferences you set up in the trial version, make a copy of the "preferences.xml" file from the "AutoPlay Media Studio 4.0 Trial\Data" folder, and then once you have installed the commercial version copy the file into the "AutoPlay Media Studio 4.0\Data" folder.

Install the Commercial Version

Once the trial version has been uninstalled, the commercial version can be installed properly. Double-click on the executable you have downloaded from our website, or insert the AutoPlay Media Studio 4.0 CD-ROM that was shipped to you, and follow the installation instructions.
