Suggestion: Dependency Module may be started at different times
Hi,
using SUF 8.1.1006.0 Sometimes it is to bad that the dependency module installs prerequisites before the user has accepted anything no license nor any install. jassing describes why he's not using any dependency module:http://www.indigorose.com/forums/sho...ght=Dependency It would be a big deal, to start the dependency module on different installer states or actions. May be on PreStartup, thats the way currently today. Other times might be on PreInstall, PostInstall, Shutdown. If you use PreInstall, then the user has already agreed all of your dialogs, also the license one, and agrees to install the software. To setup this flag the Dependency Module Properties got a new additional tab or the existing Installation tab is used to select the installer state to execute the module. Default could be the state today, PreStartup. Thanks. Best regards, Udo |
