Failure to load plugin
I had a call; and was able to replicate the issue.
On NT4, a plugin failed to load. While it's disappointing; the issue was coded around (already) in case it didn't load for whatever reason -- what I would like is to have these errors "trappable" instead of just a crashing error. |

Do you recall which plugin this was occurring with? If possible, could you send a copy of the plugin to our support department to use to test on our end? It will really depend where the crash is occurring.
Thanks |

Sorry Darryl -- I do not; I'm guessing the zip plugin or sqlite.....
We have since dropped support for NT... I searched the code for notes on plugin load failure; but didn't find anything. I do know that if you try to use the audio plugin from AMS in SUF it fails... With 3rd party plugins getting popular; there may be instnaces where it fails (like a dependancy on .net 3.5 or something) -- a "runtime trappable" error would be nice. or even just setting the table to nil.... |

I've submitted it to be looked at to see if there is anything we can catch within our control prior to the crash, thank you.
