Possibkle bug in code editor display
I have a weird issue with Setup Factory 8 (Version 8.1.1006.0). Sometimes when I maximise the Script editor and then restore it the code text area seems to extend in the button area. The buttons remain visible but do not react when pressed. To close the dialog I have to click the X in the top right and then click Yes losing any changes. It is not a consistent issue and may be difficult to identify.
The steps that tend to cause it are: 1. Open the Actions panel either from the Project or Uninstall menu. 2. Select the appropriate tab. 3. Maximise the window. 3. Make changes in the Editor. 4. Restore the window. That is the way that I have been working when I have seem. It may sometimes occur if steps three and four are reversed. I have attached a screen shot to show what is happening after the window is restored. One thing that might be influencing it is if there is enough code to fill the editor. Sometimes maximisng and restoring the window will resolve the issue. The computer is running Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 with 2 GB RAM. Kevin |
