TrueUpdate password screens
System: XP Home SP3
When I doubleclick the JetAudioPlus 7.1.8 update file JAD7_PLUS_VX_u.exe (when moused over the description is setup.exe/MacroVision Corporation). the update installs correctly. But checking the properties of the above file by rightclicking gave the following behavior: Rightclick 1: Password request screen by _TUProj... I click cancel Rightclick 2: Password request screen by _TUProjD... I click cancel Rightclick 3: Password request screen by IRZip.imd... I click cancel Rightclick 4. The normal Explorer context menu opens and I can leftclick Properties and get the normal information. 5. The context menu so opened now has an item Extract to JAD_7PLUS_VX. I leftclick that and it creates that folder. A screenshot of its contents is attached (j.jpg). What are these password screens? And since steps 1 - 5 aren't necessary for the install why are those options even displaying? Do they give some added functionality if I know the password? And if so, where/how is the password set? --Thank you. |

while the tuproj & irzip.lmd smack of an IR product; Im not sure what you're doing -- any chance you can do a flash video of your actions?
That screen show shows no TU product.... |
