Change keyfile filename?
Hi,
Does anyone know how to change the keyfile filename between patch versions? Basically the scenario is this: am currently using two sets of patches for applications that share the same program files directory. They have their own sub directory but both refer to the same keyfile 'version.txt' in the common 'root' folder. However in order to 'unify' the patching process I'm thinking I need to have two different version.txt files - one for each application so I can track versions separately. I've searched the forum but other posts I've found suggest you can't do this. TIA, Jon |

Quote:
If that's the case -- you need something shared between both products; and then have all files loaded in the versions you wish to patch. APP1.exe and APP2.exe as long as it's not a "key file" app1 will not get "created" if you're patching app2 -- as long as you have them marked not to force-install |
