Server Configuration Files

According to the User's Guide, the TU client attempts to download the server configuration files from one of its list of true update servers at start up, but I haven't been able to find these server configuration files (I am assuming that they will be in the form of *.ts1, *.ts2 etc.) on my client machine. I only see on my client machine the patch files that I put on my true update server that I want to download to my client.

I pretty much searched everywhere including temporary folders. Does anyone know where these server configuration files are downloaded to on the client machine? I don't really care as long as it works, but my client wants to know.

Thanks a lot.

Hi daisyL,

The *.TS1 file will be downloaded to memory.

The *.TS2 and *.TS3 files will by default be downloaded to the same folder that the client executable resides in. However this also depends on whether or not the location is writable and the settings set under Project | Advanced.

After the update has finished these files should be cleaned up so you don't have to worry about deleting them, if that is what your customer is concerned about.
