Thumbs down EXE will not run with 2.0.1.0 on USB Device

My EXE crashes after it is published to a USB Pen.

It works on my local discs ( C: and D: ).
It works if I publish to CD Rom.
It works if I preview it.

Even if I copy the files I generated from the local disc it fails with the following error....

If I click for more information I get this....

The PC that the AutoRun is installed on is windows XP Pro and the device also crashes if I test with Vista Home Premium.

HELP !

This is really starting to get annoying.

I ticked the box to timestamp files and it worked !

But then I made some changes and it failed again (as above), i tried again and it worked ! and it is inconsistent.

Now I have another problem.

After removing the device from the system (using the Safely Remove Hardware option) and then pluging the device back in I get a window with the title DynaZip UnZIP and a message Unexpected end of zip file (Problem Extracting Files)

Then ACRuntime Failed to extract font data to memory.

Dave,

Have you tested this on multiple machines? The program should run fine from USB, many of our users do this.

Hi Adam

Yes I have tried running this on multiple machines.

In the end I did get this working, once I had a reliable EXE on my C: drive I copied the files to the USB device again, it did keep getting the DynaZip Error but then I re-copied and then made all the files read only and not archive.

It was all guess work but it seems to be reliable now.

It would have been nice to know what it was trying to do with the Zip though.

After I did all this I was wondering if a Single EXE (Web Option?) would have been easier.

Have you tried it on multiple USB devices?

It kind of sounds to me like you might have a bad ROM on that USB key.

Yes I had 50 to chose from !

Like I say I got it working in the end but without any feedback from the developers.

Good product but shame about the support on this one
