Grin Introduction Video File Format

I have a high quality introduction video file. I want to put it in the project in MPEG-1 format to keep the quality high and the data speed down. However, the only acceptable file format is avi. My 30 second mpg video (9MB) turns into a 120MB avi file, which creates a data transfer rate that is too high for many machines.
Does the new version allow the opening video to be in the MPEG-1 format? Is there some way to creat a high quality introduction video file without file size and data transfer rate getting out of hand? Note that this must be accomplished while using only the most common compression codecs.

Re: Introduction Video File Format

Hi,
AutoPlay 3.0 only supports embedded AVI videos, but if you want to play your MPEG you can, the only problem might be that the video will be played in the users default MPEG player. I hope that this helps.

mark.
