No autorun.inf File
I am a relatively new user of AutoRun Max 2.0 Home edition, and initially had no problems creating projects and burning them to CD.
However, having deleted all my early projects, when I "Publish" a new project now, there isn't an "autorun.inf" file on the CD, so the project [a PowerPoint presentation] won't now autorun. Any suggestions as to what has gone wrong? |

Are you using the software on a different computer? The reason I ask is that the defaults for Windows XP is to hide system files and hide extensions for known file types.
Sometimes an inf file can be considered a system file. Adam Kapilik |

No autorun.inf file
Adam,
I am familiar with system and hidden files; that is not the problem - the autorun.inf file simply does not get created any more. In the absence of any other response, I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling the software. |

In the publish screen there is an option named "Enable AutoPlay feature" that is basically asking if you want it to create an autorun.inf file.
I cannot think of another reason why the autorun.inf file would not be created. Since the file is just text you could also edit an older one or create your own using notepad. Adam Kapilik |
