Error (13) - Failed to initialize patch archive.
Can anyone shed light on what this means? We have been using visual patch 2.0 for a while with no issues (really nice application by the way) and then bam, one of our computers is giving me the cyber-finger and when I try to apply the patch, it gives this error (error dialog image is attached).
Any thoughts would be appreciated. |

Assuming you're running that patch file locally, and not over a network:
My first guess would be that the patch file was corrupted. Check the MD5 value of that patch file (on the system where that's happening) against the MD5 value of the original one on the system where you built it. If the MD5s are different, you have a general file corruption problem...which could be caused by all sorts of things, e.g. the hard drive is failing, the memory is flakey, the system's chipset drivers can't cope with PCI bus contention, the network isn't working right, etc.
