Grin Media Player object question

I'm wondering why my media player object (a .asf file) has a weird appearance in design mode (bright green lines with some red, blue, or purple lines arranged at regular intervals). It sometimes looks this way in the final product, sometimes not. I've seen the same type of green screen appear sometimes when I'm opening up video newsclips over the Internet. How can I be sure to have the black Media Player screen appear in the final product when the video is not playing?

Thanks!

Re: Media Player object question

What color depth are you using on your system? 256 colors? 16 bit? 32 bit?

Re: Media Player object question

It's been at 32-bit, but I just tried 16 & the preview seems to be ok although the design view is still the green screen. Maybe it has something to do with the way the video was made.
