Linking Text

I would like to import a line of text from a .txt file and have that link to a page within AMS. Apparently when you use a Text Box Object there isnt a way to associate an action event to it. Any thoughts on how I could accomplish this? If I place a hotspot over the text box object and send the text to the back the hotspot is still not "over" the text. Where there isnt any text like above and below the box, the area is clickable.
