MDAC 2.7 RUNTIME

Are there any plans to update the MDAC 2.6SP1 runtime to include the new MDAC 2.7 runtime. I appreciate that only includes what has been installed by XP but before I do my own update thought I would ask..

Hi,

There are plans to continue to update all of our Runtime Modules, which is why we are offering them for download instead of including them in the install.

So, there are plans to update the MDAC 2.6 SP1 runtime module at some point in time, but there are no specific plans right now.

Updating the 2.6 SP1 runtime support module to support MDAC 2.7 should not be that difficult. You might want to read: http://www.microsoft.com/data/MDAC27info/en/readme.htm for more information about MDAC 2.70.7713.2
