I need some help.
Can you have multiple pages open at any time? I want to have one page open and have one page be a different size.

Short answer is no you can't.
Depending on what you are doing and want to achieve, you could perhaps create another application and open that when required. You might also be able to use a dialogex but that would be modal i.e. you have to deal with that window and close it before you can continue with your main app. It could be a different size to your main window. In my experience the limitations of AMS lie with the developer and not with the software
Possibly my secret lies in the fact that, to draw an analogy I'm not trying to learn how to fly using a car. If you search the forum you will find lots of posts where forum members have posted examples of 'skins' and other graphics, buttons etc. |

A weak analogy which didn't make the point adequately. My meaning was that AMS is a great piece of software but it is not a complete software development solution. I leave it to other people to say what is the best programming environment. Back to AMS - there is a recurring theme in posts by new users that it does not do x,y or z and therefore it is limited or has shortcomings. In most cases I believe that x,y, or z is 'do-able' using AMS perhaps with a little original thought and some effort. AMS does what it says on the box and a whole lot more. |
