Really need help with this!!!!

Hey Everybody I really need help with this project. I just started making it but I'm not good with coding. I am really good with artwork though. Anyways I'm trying to make a program for me and all other recording artist/song writers. I wanna be able to write my lyrics in a text box and be able to save/export it, and then able to load/import it back into the text box. I also wanna be able to have a music player build in "Not the windows media player" my own one if possible. To load in a beat/instrumental and I want it to be able to play while I write to the beat. It shoudln't be to hard to make, Atleast I think? Anyways any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance....A4

Look at the AMS Media player template and also look around for the AMS NotePad or they will do just the job.

@ - "rexzooly" - I don't know what you mean? Isn't their a script or something. I've been racking my brain on this for a few days now and I can't figure it out :( I know whens its done its gonna make alot of artist happy

if you look on here there is the AMS Notepade APZ so that will have all the coding you need and same with with the music play open AMS click new project and look in there for the IPOD looking one that is media player use that for the base code.

Yes we can do it but if you look and read and do them you will learn better.

myself not really i have many projects on if you get the AMS Notepad its a App made in AMS that is all you need then just addn your media player.

The media player temp is already in AMS open new project and look in the window that pops but its the one that looks like a ipod.

OK a quick search turns up lots of music players and as Rex said there is one include in the AMS templates. Just modify it to suit. No one is going to build your program for you. Use the one of the many examples to get started and when you get stuck, ask for help.

he shouldn't say no one will build the project for you... Some of us do it for a living ;-)

But, yes, there's examples around that will get you started, saving text in/out of an edit box is trivial. Loading music in/out is also trivial.

Since you say "you're own" media player, I assume you have a media player you commissioned someone else to write for you? AMS cannot handle true windows "objects", so you can't embed your own player -- you are going to have to use the one that comes with it -- or commission someone to build a "custom media player" for you. But I doubt that will be cheap.

It's a program I wrote in 5 minutes from scratch that might help you out, I was going to post it yesterday but I was too tired.

You load a music track via Audio > Load and then you can play it by using the buttons at the bottom right hand corner.

The project is 100% resizable and should help you as a basic idea. You can add whatever you want and not give me credit because I really don't care about AMS projects anymore.
