Alternate RAD studios - seeking input/comments
I recently came across a couple of RAD (Rapid Application Development) suites, that I hadn't heard of before:
1. RealBasic Studio 2. Hypernext Studio ... and was wondering if anyone has any experience with these suites. If so, tell us what you think of either of them, in comparison to AMS? How do they stack up, in terms of ease of use and functionality (especially for someone like me who comes from a non-programming background)? |

I can speak on RealBASIC.
Its definitely not for the non-programmer. You will need to learn basic programming to be able to truly use it to its potential. It has come a long way in recent years, and for someone who was using VB6 for many years, it was an easy switch. Although its a little quirky for some things, its definitely worth looking at. Especially if you are wanting to X-Compile for Windows / Mac / Linux. |

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Anyone else?
And, can I extend the question to comments/opinions on both WinDev and WebDev, too? |
