Simple Data base Help SQL

I need to make a simple database using the SQL Pluggin that records the following.

Gift Certificate Tracking

Date Qty Store Signature (pick up by)

Can it be searchable by any of the fields?


If some one has a few moments to help me I would Appreciate it. I have not made any projects with the SQL plugin as of yet. I have looked at the Template but I Think I must be making it harder than it is.
