Icon wont chage

When ever I try to change the icon in project options I choose my icon with the use external icon check box. preview the project and it works fine and displays the icon i choose but when i build the project it doesn't display my icon just the default.

help plz ;p

When you select a custom icon AutoPlay Menu Studio renames that icon file as autorun.ico and puts it in your output directory. When you burn your project you must include that icon file. Did you include that file in your burnt CD? are you sure that the autorun.ico file exists?

The only way I've found to edit the icon in the exe itself is to build it, then use a resource editor to edit the icons afterwards. I use Resource Hacker (http://www.users.on.net/johnson/resourcehacker/) myself , and find it quite useful. Simply choose the file you want to edit, go to Action->Replace Icon and choose the icon you want to use instead. Otherwise, as Adam said, just add icon=autorun.ico to your autorun.inf file.
