Scientists/Archaelogists have a general concencus that the Tihuanacu empire rose around 600 BC. making it a very significant sort of thing. If you share my love of "what makes things tick" you may enjoy the perspective explored in this video as they approach it from the angle of trying to piece together what factors may have contibuted to the demise of the Tihuanacu.
