    Windows XP User Permissions

    Greetings all,

I recently installed AutoPlay Media Studio 5.0 Pro on one of my computers and found that the only way I can provide the option to Burn CD's is by giving the user "Administrator" permissions. If I have the user set with permissions of "Power User" when it comes time to Publish and select the "Build & Publish Target" as "CD-R/CD-RW" I get an error of "Could not locate any CD/RW burning drives on this system". If I change the same users permissions to "Administrator", everything works fine.

Any sugestions on how to get this to work for a "Power Users" security group?

    Thanks,

    Rick LaPorte

Don't know what burning software you are using but if it's Nero then there is an tool available to get around this problem here.

I am actually running Roxio Easy CD Creator (free with CD-ROM unit), but the thing is, I CAN create CD with Roxio, just not with APMS-5. APMS-5 only reports the CD Drive if the user is a local administrator.

      Any additional thoughts on this?
