Looks interesting.
What do you think?

Somewhat like a SwishMAX (pared down Flash platform)? For some reason I guess I rather just sweat it out and learn the '"real deal" (Flash MX 2004). Like with AMS 5 Pro.
Ah, well, back to work.

I don't think there's much overlap between the two but I might be wrong. Seems to me Flash Studio is kind of an "after Flash" tool. At any rate you are definitely correct about being better off learning Flash than Swish, *much* better off. :)
Shameless plug : I just bought the Flash Developers Certification Study guide today. I'll get through it and write my certification sometime in the next month or so, then I'll be releasing some developer certified Flash training CDs at Speedy Training. They'll be inexpensive as always and very handy for anyone trying to get some traction in Flash MX. I'm also happy to help with Flash questions here in the forum anytime... :)

What version are you using (or going to be using) for those training CDs Corey? Flash MX 2004 by any chance?
Thanks,
Corey

Absolutely. Everything will be geared at MX 2004. I hope that works out on your end. The Photoshop stuff will be geared at version CS. I'm also going to re-write the Photoshop ACE exam in January or so, that way all our training CDs will be "certified". Plus it ensures the accuracy and timeliness of the information on the CDs for you guys, i.e. you can be sure that it's not just some random guy rambling on, but rather a knowledgable expert. My main thing is to make affordable CDs which are superior in quality to the higher priced ones, and I figure the certification certainly can't hurt that goal anyhow, so... :)
