account privileges on 2003 domain

hi, i'm running an application setup in windows XP on a 2003 domain. I recive the message that i can't install beacause i don't have correct privileges. But i'm an administrator of the machine! Can anyone suggest something? Tanks.

If you're connected to the domain from the XP machine, you will need to give proper permissions from the domain controller rather than the XP machine. You will need to login locally to the XP machine to get around this otherwise.
