Big hugs for you JimS.
Best wishes man
All the best!
If I could write a DLL to keep us from aging, would you be a beta tester :)

Sweet idea Worm! I won't help you test but as soon as the beta victims have expired and you've honed your formula enough so that the "second wave" can use it without croaking, I'll hop on the wagon like a bionic frog. Essentially I just want to exempt myself from any form of work or risk, but still be able to exploit all the benefits. You know, the usual... :yes
Thank you all for the well wishes. Yes Worm, I’d most definitely be first in line to beta test that DLL. I don’t want to rush you or anything, but I hope that you can get it written sometime within the next couple of years, while I still have a few of my own teeth left, and before I’m old enough to have to get those yearly prostate exams.
It’s funny the things that Momma never bothered to mentioned about growing old. :rolleyes
I hope that everyone who lives in a place where it is celebrated, has a wonderful Thanksgiving. If you are traveling, do it safely, and stay out of the news.
Thanks again everyone for the nice B-day wishes.

I've read credible research which suggests that it's reasonably possible they will be able to induce new tooth growth in humans within this decade. So just hang in there for a few more and make sure to sock away lots of do-ra-me, and you'll look like George Hamilton at a baking soda festival in ten years.
Here's an army of links to incite the intrepid:

Hope your day was reasonable Jim. :)
Yes, this is technology that I am waiting for. It has taken longer for this to happen than I thought it would.
Incidentally, my Grandfather had a third set of teeth. Problem was that they came in while his second set were still good. He ended up having to have several teeth pulled to make room for the new ones.
I certainly think that over the next decade or two, advances in bio-tech will yield profound changes to our lives. What a great time we live in.

Agreed!
Me, I'm saving up for eyebrow implants and then no longer will I be kept down by the man. No, my new brows will be *so* strong they'll *have* to listen to me. Then, like these guys (http://www.amiannoying.com/(iajsmv55cym0x4551ugsut2h)/collection.aspx?collection=520), I will ride my gigantic eyebrows *straight* to the top of the entertainment industry where I will rule for decades as the undisputed prince of puerility... (!!!) Great times indeed! :yes
I've heard of cases like your grandpa's. Interesting fact, totally intriguing... I never get tired of watching nature do its thing. I could *really* use a third ear for mixing surround sound projects. (center channel) :)
That reminds me of a killer novel I read "Gone South" by Robert R. Mcammon which features a bounty hunter named Flynt who has a tiny creature named Clint growing out of his chest. He fed it crackers and taught it to hold a gun, but it couldn't really aim or fire properly and occasionally it would get grumpy and uncooperative. Heck of a great book, a really good writer and a decent story actually. Good characters:

I reccomend this novel to any person(s) whom enjoy(s) the opportunity to participate in light entertainment in a non-structured environment. It's better-than-average. :yes
