Is there any reason why I should NOT move the vb6 runtime support to a more logical point...like right before all the rest of the support files get loaded in? It seems odd to be doing an installation of something on the user's machine before asking "do you want to install Aardvark Breeding for Dummies on your box?".

Sorry that I can’t help with your question, but I did want to chime in that my Aunt loves your “for dummies’ program. She gives it her highest rating. Of course, dummies run in our family.

No, there's no difference. If you want to install the VB files yourself along with your application's files, or run the VB runtime installer at a later point, you can certainly do that and it should work the same in the end.

Thanks, Darryl. I was pretty sure that was the case.

And, Jim, thanks for the kind words on our flagship prodcut "Aardvark Breeding for Dummies". The response has been so overwhelming that we are trying to move forward our upcoming "Grizzly Bear Breeding for Dummies". Unfortunately, our chief developer on that product suffered some minor injuries while researching the software. Not too worry! As soon as the back-ordered prosthetics come in he'll be back to work.
