Hi,

Is it possible for Setup Factory 6 to create an ISO image that can be burned to CD? My product currently installs to a floppy, but I need users to be able to create CD versions also. More and more users these days don't have floppy drives, so they cannot install to floppy and create an ISO from that themselves, but need to have an ISO created directly from SF.

Is there any way to do this, or something similar? I've searched the forum archives but wasn't able to find anything like this.

Thanks!
Oli

In project settings, you can change the output destination (size limit) to whatever you like. However this will not create an ISO image for you - you need to do that yourself using something like Nero.

MagicISO has full features to you. It is very easy to create iso image as well as burn iso image to CD or DVD later. http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-burniso.htm

Here's another option. After you create your master disk, you can then make an ISO image of it using "ISO Recorder Power Toy". Then you can use the ISO image to burn copies. This is a free tool that integrates into Windows Explorer as a right click menu option. I first found this tool when looking on the Microsoft site for a way to create ISO images.
