Please help! connect problem

Hi, I have a kiosk style interface which is set to run on startup but i need the modem to auto connect. how would I do this?. I have tried to locate the default connecting device but I have been un successful.

Here is a two part approach that does not use the registry:

1. Make sure the connection is setup to automatically connect.

2. Then place a shortcut of the connection into the startup folder for the user logged on or Administrator.

What should happen is that whne you turn on the system the internet connection is now listed as an on startup program.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Note: This is for a default installation of Windows XP (your drive letter may be different).

Here is the path to the startup for all users directory.
