CD burner functions

I have read through the forums, looked in the plugin list, all to no avail.

Has anyone been able to create a CD burner project. CD players we can make starting from the samples on up to I sure some very creative offerings, but has anyone created a burner software.

Looking for is it possible, and directions to get started.

this would be limited..several well known Burning Proggies
eg: Nero.com have a freely downloadable sdk that can be
'programmed-scripted' to fire up Nero and perform all the major
functions on the fly...cd\dvdburner support would be a hurdle to
get around..hence something like the SDK..hooks into the
Nero API...you could write a util with AMS5 that calls the
SDK functions and give a full GUI to the user..

Would take some doing but should be possible..

there are intentions, there are boundaries, and then there are people to push then, guess I want to push those boundaries.


If I understood calling dll's better, I could use some I have here from an open source program

..there are freeware burning utils out there..but again
device support is an ongoing thing..

Server 2003 has a small standalone and scriptable(pretty sure)
cdburning proggie..the docs say 'must be running 2K3 to use it'..
again device support is limited. ..licensing issues etc..

Great Idea though..creativity has no boundaries...

what I have done right now is added an external software, client can select make disk and it will open, I would prefer the control inside but that is a growth thing for me.

Just at the why can I not do this stage, most of which is fluffy stuff
