Is it possible to make and use your own cursers in this program, if so...how?

No, I'm sorry there is no custom cursor support in version 5.0, perhaps in a future version. As a work around though, 5.0 does offer a really great variety of built in cursor choices via the drop down menu in the properties dialog for clickable objects. :)
